2. Utiliser la puissance de calcul XtremWeb-HEP

Version actuelle : 9.0.6 (oct. 2014)

Vous pouvez utiliser le temps CPU rassemblé par XtremWeb-HEP pour soumettre des jobs de traitement de vos données.

Pour cela, vous pouvez télécharger le client XtremWeb-HEP.

Clients XtremWeb-HEP

‌ L’accès au serveur XtremWeb-HEP nécessite que vous effectuiez une Authentification (Vérification de votre identité)
-* Si vous possédez un certificat X509 signé par une Autorité de Certification membre de IGTF (International Grid Trust Federation), vous pouvez utiliser :
-** La liste des certificats des Autorités de Certification, mise à jour toutes les nuits à 00:00,
-** Le logiciel jlite de Oleg Sukhoroslov
pour générer un proxy X509 qui permettra à XtremWeb-HEP de vous authentifier automatiquement.
-* Si vous ne possédez pas un tel certificat X509, vous devez demander un identifiant et un mot de passe à l’administrateur du serveur XtremWeb-HEP.

2. Use the XtremWeb-HEP computing power

Current version : 9.0.6 (oct 2014)

You can use the CPU time gathered by XtremWeb-HEP to submit jobs processing your data.

For this purpose, you can download the XtremWeb-HEP client.

XtremWeb-HEP Client packages

‌ Access to the XtremWeb-HEP server requires that you perform an Authentication (Verification of your identity).
-* If you have an X509 certificate signed by a Certification Authority member of IGTF (International Grid Trust Federation), you can use :
-** The list of certificates of the Certificate Authorities, updated every night at 00:00,
-** The software jlite by Oleg Sukhoroslov to generate an X509 proxy permitting XtremWeb-HEP to authenticate you automatically.
-* If you do not have such an X509 certificate, you have to ask for a login and password to the administrator of the XtremWeb-HEP server.

XtremWeb-HEP 9

XtremWeb-HEP 9 introduces "offering and billing" mecanisms to allow the management of "charged" services. In an other hand, this version permit to deploy "Hadoop" applications.

News

The release XtremWeb-HEP 9 is a breakthrough in the world of Desktop Grid Computing.

For the first time, "Big Data" applications can be deployed on a hybrid volunteer platform.

XtremWeb-HEP 9

XtremWeb-HEP 9 introduit le "offering and billing" pour permettre de créer un service "payant". D’autre part cette version permet de faire tourner des applications "Hadoop".
